Canoeing is the most elegant form of wilderness travel. There is no trail or path left behind as one stalks wildlife and remote campsites. While the design is simple, canoes require technical prowess to safely reach one’s destination. Any rapid quickly turns dicey when weighted down with camping gear and drinks. Teamwork is key.
